Whether you work in a hair salon, the service industry, or within a corporation, you probably utilize some form of communication equipment, such as a headset, phone or conference phone. We all know from experience that telephone equipment (even top quality office phone equipment) does not last forever. So next time your headset or handset is on the fritz, why not consider taking the eco conscious route? We have two options for you, courtesy of the Headset Express Blog.
Option 1. Consider getting your telephone headset repaired. A new wireless headset can run you up to a few hundred dollars but, according to Headset Express, you might be able to have your broken headset repaired for as little $50. And you do not even have to drive to the head office to initiate the repair job. Depending on whether or not you are in a time crunch, you may be able to mail the equipment in.
Option 2. If your original headset is not repairable, consider purchasing a refurbished headset. Refurbished headsets are headsets that were returned to the manufacturer for whatever reason. The manufacturer will repair and the repackage the product and then sell it at a reduced price. This is a little more environmentally friendly (and less expensive) than purchasing a brand new set.
